Minerals Exploration, Drilling and Mining company, Contract Mining, Mining Engineering and Procurement services company. About Masimbane Minerals (Pty) Ltd Masimbane Minerals (Pty) Ltd is a South African black-owned mining and energy company based in KwaZulu-Natal Province, with the head offices in Dundee. The company takes advantage of the opportunities in the mining and exploration sectors, and, its development strategy is to focus in acquisition, development and beneficiation of mineral resources for the benefit of its shareholders. Our Business Strategy    Management’s strategy is to build the Company into a profitable resource and energy company and maximize shareholder value through exploration of its high quality mining properties in the KwaZulu-Natal Province, South Africa. The Company is committed to working with the government and people of South Africa to achieve a modern and sustainable development best practice. The Company follows best practices in health and safety, environmental and community engagement. Our business strategy requires that we align our prospecting activities to maximize our involvement in the downstream industrial and commercial opportunities rather than simply become a supplier of raw minerals. This is in line with the national economic aims of the government (beneficiation). Development Strategies The Company’s strategy is to build shareholder value, through acquisition, exploration and development of coal, iron ore and platinum projects in South Africa. This strategy has been developed by a synthesis of Masimbane's core skills in project evaluation, structured acquisition, exploration and project development and operations, an area where Masimbane's executives have significant experience. Six coal projects have already been acquired, with more in application, and drilling programmes well underway at Masimbane's Klip River Coalfield project area. The alignment of prospecting activities with our business strategy has required that we create value, rapidly, in the first few years of the exploration programme where drilling takes the asset from its inferred to a qualified reserve with a bankable feasibility study (BFS) and a resource asset with a defined value, and that is where we see the company’s investment interest. Vision “To be a Global Player & Competitor in the Coal-to-Liquids (CTL) & Power Generation Markets” Mission Masimbane Minerals will endeavor to generate sustainable growth in the interest of all our stakeholders by: •    Seeking new business opportunities and partners in the minerals industry; •    Participating in the mining industry at ownership, board, management and employee levels. •    Competing in the mining industry by leveraging in our quality mineral products. Conducting our business with integrity and complying with internationally accepted business principles and practices. Our Philosophy Our philosophy is to include as shareholders, local communities, local business communities, youth, women and disabled people through their trust or companies; thus ensuring that such communities are beneficiaries of the company’s sustainable development priorities and wealth created from the natural resources in their communities.
